  1. This arc has been incredible so far. Can’t wait to see how it all wraps up. It is nice to see that Frank does return to this title after a two-parter next. I love my Frank-Frank Supermans!

  2. I’ve never cared about the legion in the past, but this arc has been really fun.

Also, Gary frank draws one of the best superman’s EVER!

  3. This has been an awesome story, maybe one of the best supes stories i’ve ever read.

  4. the exciting conclusion? F-yeah! Been loving the art. I’d like to see frank working on another Legion book one of these days.

  5. This has been the only DC comic I’ve followed so at least with this arc ending my wallet will be happy when I drop it.

  6. @s1lentslayer – If you like the book (I assume) why would you drop it?

  7. Well, the solicits for the next 2 issues don’t really impress me. But after that? Frank is back! And drawing Brainiac too! Yeah baby!!!

  8. I can’t wait to see the bad guys lose.  That’s how good the villains are in this.  Excited for the art and the conclusion.

  9. This book really has shocked me.  It’s reminded me of my childhood love for the Legion and it has shown me that I can enjoy reading Superman in a monthly.  I’ll probably drop it for a couple issues since they look like one shots and pick up on the next arc this team is doing together.

  10. @conor I’d say he doesn’t have enough money (to get everything he’d like). I have to manage too, always deciding which book is gonna go. I mean I love the new Blue Beetle but I really think that I have to drop it. Same thing with Nightwing; it pains me that I hadn’t had the chance to buy it the last couple months.

Or maybe it doesn’t have to do with money and I’m just totally out of place. If that’s the case, I’d like to apologize in advance.

  11. Aside from All-Star, this may be the best Superman story I’ve read in 20 years.

  12. @Conor.  I think I may be a Marvel snob because current DC books just don’t interest me. I’ve followed this arc because I wanted to expand my horizon and try a DC book but I just don’t see myself continuing with it.

  13. @s1lentslayer – Speaking as a DC guy, don’t drop it yet.  I gave some Marvel books a try recently, and I’m not addicted to Amazing Spider-man, Hulk, & Captain America.  I think jumping off of Action now would be a mistake.  We’ve got James Robinson coming in on Superman with Johns’ Action which is shaping up to be a stellar year for the Man of Steel.

  14. doh!  I meant I’m NOW addicted to those Marvel books.  I have definitely benefited from expanding my horizons on Marvel.  I suspect Marvel guys would be just as satisfied by giving DC a try.

  15. Just read this moments ago…  wow, you know, I really can’t think of a writer whose comics have a more cinematic feel than those written by Geoff Johns.  Although this was one of those endings you could see coming – you just KNEW what was going to happen. But like any good summer blockbuster, knowing how its going to end doesn’t matter because its exactly the payoff I wanted!

This really is one of the greatest Legion stories I’ve ever read.  I can’t even BEGIN to express how excited I am for Legion of 3 Worlds!

  16. Ditto!
