  1. The last issue was pretty good but I think I’m going to hop off. There are just so many other comics I would rather spend 4 dollars on… 🙁

    • I didn’t think it was anything special. I’m not really upset about Diggle leaving because it wasn’t that great. I like what Lobdell’s doing on Superman better.

  2. I never thought there’d be a time that I’m not reading a superman monthly, until unchained, batman/superman and adventures of superman (print) come out I’m just going to re-read all-star and probably pick up secret identity or secret origin.

    Gotta pass the time somehow!

  3. Writing and penciling will good… but I hated the coloring! This was another overall engaging Daniel issue but the World of Krypton backup didn’t pique my interest at all.

  4. I have to admit, I kind of don’t care about this book because I don’t like how Diggle quit DC. I know a lot of people were all up in arms over DC’s editors, but we don’t know the whole story. All I know is DC promoted Diggle on Action a lot and he quit before his first issue was out – which I thought was only okay.

So maybe I’m wrong but my lack of enthusiasm for this book has more to do with Diggle’s actions than DC’s.

  5. I haven’t enjoyed Action much at all. I think this issue was the best of the entire series. I have no interest at all in the World of Krypton story and if that’s how they can justify $3.99, they should remove the back up story. Superman is been better than Action.

  6. It sucks that the politics behind this book pushed people away from an otherwise perfectly enjoyable Superman story with great art.

  7. I thought the art was fantastic. The story was pretty fun. We got some deviousness from Lex Luthor leading to Superman getting a little help from his friends. The back-up story involves a younger Jor-El and Lara with a cameo (?) by Jax-Ur. Not much we can say yet since it was a short part one but looks promising. This story from Diggle was much easier to follow then Morrison’s but equally as fun.
