Comments

  1. That Locke and Key just scared the beejesus out of me.

My favorite panel was towards the end of Daredevil when someone shot that ‘anti-radar’ gun and how it affected his vision. Still have no idea if that exists or not.

  2. @Paul – “The new, lighter Daredevil!” LOL

  3. That Locke and Key panel looks like it could double as Slayer album art.

  4. It’s ridiculous how much joy I’ve gotten out of the Famous Fans promo.

  5. You know, Wonder Woman appears to be undressing Jared with her eyes in that panel. It’s weirding me out!

  6. Finally. The two greatest American heroes finally meet and shake hands.

  7. @PraxJarvin  Damn she sure is!!

All i could think about the shark was “Damn we gonna need a bigger boat!”

  8. loved that fight in avengers, give me hawkeye and spider-woman fighting monsters all day if bachalo draws it

  9. That Subway Wonder Woman is hot!

  10. Paul – Is the Hela reference for WW?
If so – isn’t Hela – Norse mythology.

    @ericmci  Yes. So?

  12. Locke & Key is slowly becoming the best comic series around today. Even better than, dare I say, Scalped.

  13. Avatar photo Paul Montgomery (@fuzzytypewriter) says:

@SpiderTitan  Oh that happened quickly, and a while ago in my opinion. 😉

  14. @PaulMontgomery  Ditto

  15. @PraxJarvin  Superman’s looks says, “I could crush your hand so easily right now.”

  16. Hal Jordan: “Go ahead, whatever your name is. You can feel my muscles. Or fist bump my tricep. The lady gets what the lady wants.”

  17. @PaulMontgomery  (and others): I read the first trade of Locke and Key and wasn’t really blown away by it, but all I hear is how awesome it is. Does it get better after that or is it still basically the same?

  18. Avatar photo Paul Montgomery (@fuzzytypewriter) says:

@LucasEwalt  I’m not sure how to answer this. I love the first volume, but it only gets richer.

  19. @PaulMontgomery  Thanks. I thought the first volume was okay, it just wasn’t anything that made me feel like I HAD to go out and get the next one this instant. Maybe my expectations were just set insanely high because all I’ve heard about it is how amazing it is. I’ll check out the second volume and decide from there.

  20. I would like more advertisements like these Subway ads, please. They’re just about the best thing ever.

  21. But-wait, ok, the panel in DD where he’s flipping backwards off a building after meeting with the new DA- that is the one.  Sometimes in superhero comics we forget that leaping off buildings and doing crazy flips is not a normal everyday thing, and that one panel really brought the sense of wonder and disorientation that an action like that should cause.  Go, look at it!

  22. Act as casual as you want GL we all know you’re flexing.

  23. The man/shark attack was hilarious.

I will say it was very difficult picking out one moment or panel from Daredevil this week. That said, I think this page showcases just how complex a tone the new swashbuckling series has as well as depicting the crazy cool 6th sense tactile sight.

  25. i loved the deep blue sea/LL cool J reference.
