The moment I heard the name Edgar Wright was associated with Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, I knew I'd by buying the Blu-Ray. This is no small thing. Sure, there was a time when I'd buy at least 1 or 2 discs every Tuesday, but those days are long gone, and I'm left wondering what in the world made me by the Daredevil Special Edition. After I saw the film, it was once again assured as a lock. And if that didn't do it, this exceptional list of goodies would certainlt push me over the edge.
You can get your hands on the Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World Blu-Ray or DVD on November 9. I'm guessing there's not going to be a line, but you might want to clear your schedule for a while.

@ Josh i too own the special edition of Daredevil. i don’t know why. it just sits there taunting me!!! i can not wait for November 9th!!! i wish the virgin mega store in times square were still open. i work nights in Manhattan, and i used to pick up DVD and cds before i went home Monday nights. well, i can wait.
Is it weird of me that I get sick(like physically ill) from watching movies on Blu Ray? I get massive headaches and motion sickness if it’s a really fast moving action movie.
Anyway, will probably buy this because I love Edgar Wright and enjoyed the movie more than I did the book. Please direct Hank Pym movie!

I didn’t even realize this came out in theaters already.
I can’t wait to watch this again. I saw it once a week at the cinema since it’s release. Unfortunately the theaters in my area only had it for a month. I only got to watch it 4 times. :'(

@Josh, sure, we’ll go with that. It’s never been a reason I owned a dvd, though. Usually, it’s some emotional attachment to the movie…like, I want to relive seeing it somehow.

Get a blue ray player! The quality is so much better. The Watchmen Ultimate cut was worth the purchase of a blue ray. Or get a PS3 and play some cool games too!

I so can’t wait for this, I was just checking Amazon yesterday to see if they had a release date yet and now boom! My wife didn’t get to see it in theaters and she’s had to live with my son and I talking about Vegan powers for a month. Now she’ll get to see how awesome this flick is.
A great set of features. The commentaries look to be as good as the ones on Wright’s other movies too.
PS3 is a great game console and blu ray player and you can also wear it as a hat.
I have wanted this basically since the first trailer. Looks like an excellent set.
I really hope either a) this release is region free and I can import it or b) the UK release is at the same time.
At least this DVD has a good amount of special features. I won’t feel bad about buying this one, since I won’t be converting to Blu-Ray any time soon.

I’m also sick of this shafting the non-blue ray people are getting – have you seen the features on the Iron Man 2 blu? It’s a bunch of crap – used to be you’d have to pick from a loaded, 2-disc set or your standard 1-disc "just the movie" – now you either get Blu-Ray or screwed.
Sorry – yes, I’ll be buying this on DVD, and yes, I’ll be listening to the commentaries. Wright is very entertaining on his commentaries, particulary him and Simon on Shaun and with Tarantino on Hot Fuzz (yeah, yeah, I know the Tarantino thing is kind of played, but I still enjoy him).
