Sakura-con 2012 in PHOTOGRAPHS!

Over the last few weekends, Seattle has been a veritable geek heaven. With Emerald City ComiCon two weeks ago and Sakura-con this weekend, geeks and cosplayers have all but taken over the rainy city.

Sakura-con is an incredibly successful and large anime convention. It brings out some of the best cosplayers in the Pacific Northwest and is a BIG DEAL to a lot of people (they wait for an entire year for it, saving up money and working on their cosplay). I was wandering around with my camera per usual, and captured some truly remarkable costumes, great toys, etc. Without further ado, my Sakura-con 2012 photo dump!

Molly McIsaac just edited all these photos in six hours. She needs a cupcake now. Or just needs you to follow her on Twitter.
