Preview: X-O MANOWAR #8

You may not be aware of it, but Valiant’s X-O Manowar is more than equipped to scratch your cloak and dagger itch between seasons of Game of Thrones. Seriously. I know there’s a guy in a flashy blue and orange costume who looks like he just touched down from another planet, and odds are he did. But this is also a man-0ut-of-time saga with bona fide Visigoths, beards and scabbards and all, plotting acts of war in big tents. War tents! That intrigue extends to the modern day with shady dealings at MI-6 headquarters. And ninja action with Ninjak! And there really are aliens too!

This book has everything, the whole toy chest. More importantly, Venditti and company position those elements to masterful effect.

Today we’ve got an exclusive preview of issue #8, due on shelves December 19th.
