The last champion of the Visigoths thought he controlled his hated enemy’s armor of legend, unique in all the world. Now he faces down a familiar visage in that tell-tale orange and blue. Worse, this enemy holds in his cruel grasp the last of Aric’s countrymen, a friend from a simpler time. Now, the wicked Trill claims all the cards.

Aric and Trill face off this week in X-O Manowar #10, as Planet Death looms ever near.

With the Vine invasion fleet waiting in orbit, Aric of Dacia is forced into the one battle he never wanted, against the strongest, most horrifying opponent he’s ever faced. This adversary doesn’t want the X-O Manowar armor. It doesn’t want Earth. It only wants Aric — dead. The winner will hold the fate of everyone, human and Vine, in the palm of his hand. Because before this fight is over, the armor will reveal that it wields far more destructive potential than anyone could have possibly imagined.

Be here on February 20th as Robert Venditti and Trevor Hairsine conclude the introduction to Planet Death, the epic storyline a year in the making, only in X-O Manowar #10!

Now, how’s about that preview?

  1. This is a pretty incredible series. I picked up the introductory trade a few weeks back (just $9.99!) and I was hooked. Great art, great writing, and a premise that’s right up my alley: Time-displaced ancient human warrior armed with mystical, super-advanced alien power-armor fights to hold off an alien invasion of Earth. It’s like Iron Man mixed with a splash of Conan the Barbarian, only much, much cooler. People need to check this series out! 🙂

  2. I cannot wait to read the next issue. What a great series. I was excited to hear that Venditti will take over Green Lantern when Johns departs. I really hope people give this series a chance. You won’t regret it!
