Preview: NEW CRUSADERS: RISE OF THE HEROES #2 Act II

General Douglas MacArthur once said, “Old soldiers never die, they just fade away.” For Joe Higgins, the superhero formerly known as the Shield, that means allowing a new generation of Crusaders to lead the charge for truth and justice. But is Joe prepared to fade away entirely? And are these kids under his protection ready to take up the mantle of the Crusaders?

And can anything prepare us for the space monkeys?

We’ve got an exclusive sneak peek at some of the action from Episode 2 Act II below.  If you like what you see, you can check it out on the Red Circle App on iTunes or go to the Red Circle Comics website.

  1. How is this?

I’m thinking of getting a tablet, and a couple of good digital-only comics might be the necessary push.

  2. Haven’t been paying all that much attention, but am interested in the Archie heroes. Read the books years ago with the original Fly (before he became Fly-Man and Fly-Girl came along) and even the ‘camp era’ books could be fun. I enjoyed DC’s two attempts at the characters, and wish the best of luck to Archie on trying again.

I notice that The Fly seems absent but Fly Girl is around. Is there a reason for that?

  3. this art looks great, it has an animated feel to it.
