Comments

  1. happy new year to the whole iFanboy community. thanks for everything this year.

    • Indeed! Happy New Year all! Best comic book website on the internet bar none, it’s like the best book club ever made, especially for us. Please don’t leave us waiting too long for the new batch of video shows or the best of 2011

  2. Happy New Year guys! I signed up here about half way through 2011, so I’m working on my first year here at iFanboy. So far it’s been great. The people that run the site and the people that post here have been nothing but nice and that’s a hard thing to come by on forums or anything else online, so Thanks!

  3. Happy New Year!!!!

  4. Happy New Years! Hope everyone had a great ringing in and here’s to a year of amusing stories all about the Mayans and their Calender 🙂

I wonder what Calender-Man will say in Batman: Arkham City during December.

  5. Happy New Year to every fanboy/fangirl out there! I wish plenty of comic goodness, goofyness, madness, superheroics, horror and just plain fun to all!

  6. 2011 was both a good and a bad year for comics. We had some great books, but we unfortunately lost some legendary creators. Hope 2012 is more of the good and none of the bad.

    Thanks for everything, iFanboy!

Head Uut Aastat! Happy New Year!

  7. Hooray!

  8. Happy New Year to the iFanboy staff and all my fellow iFanbase members. Hope you all have a great 2012!

  9. 2011 is was a good year because it is the year I got back into reading comics

  10. Happy New Year all!!

  11. Welcome back Walter! Happy new years everyone! Its going to be a great year.

  12. To everyone, a happy new year!!
Now lets all hope we don’t all die in Decemver xD

2011 was the year i seriously started reading ongoing comics, in 2010 i started reading trades and everything, but only read 1 ongoing then.

  13. Happy New Year, iFanboy! There is plenty of stuff to look forward to in 2012: Avengers Vs. X-Men, The Avengers movie, Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, more of the New 52, and much more!

  14. I can’t wait to enjoy 2012’s first Pick of the Week Podcast! Happy New Year to the crew at iFanboy and the iFanbase. All of you have taught me how to be critical about comics, how to drop a comic that I’m not enjoying, how to make a pull list, how to review and rate comics, and of course how not to read Severed (in the dark). You’ve taught me to enjoy a comic just because I find it a fun read, not because of it’s acclaim. Daredevil deserves it though! Of the New 52 I am down to 5 a month, and with a Venom event coming up in 2012, let’s just say Avengers Academy may be my only Marvel pull. Enjoy the New Year!

  15. Happy New Year to the whole ifanboy community. Bring on 2012 and all it has in store for us. Every year i always get really reflective during day of New Year’s Eve but New Year’s Day always fills me with excitement for what is going to happen this year and I mean that in life AND comics, which for me, both those things have a strong link. Not saying comics are my life, but they are a big part of it.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  16. Happy New Year to the ifanboy community. Here’s to hoping 2012 is even greater than 2011.

  17. Happy New Year iFanboy & iFanboy community! 2011 was my first time picking up wednesday comics since 1996:) this this site and all (er most of) it’s members have really enhanced the experience for me…really looking forward to 2012’s first pick of the week!:)

  18. damn, why did 2012 have to be the year of the apocalypse? So many good books coming out!

    Happy New Year!

  19. wishing everyone a non-apocalyptic 2012.
except for the people i hate…..lol
    salud

  20. Happy New Year, everyone!

i found out during my vacation that the Mayans never invented the wheel, by the way.

    I’m just saying…

  21. Happy New Year to everyone too!:) I agree, Mayans never invented the said calendar. I even found an article discussing the so called “Mayan Apocalypse”. From what I read in an article, The 2012 “Mayan Apocalypse” is scheduled for Dec. 21, 2012. Though the end of the world is not certain, there are a few things that are certain. The disaster industry and tourism to the Mayan regions of Mexico are going up, which provides a financial benefit.
