‘Green Lantern: The Animated Series’ – S01E03 – “Razer’s Edge”

It’s finally time for a new episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series!

Here’s how “Razer’s Edge” is described:

Hal and Kilowog are ordered to drop Razer off at a prison asteroid operated by the Spider Guild. When the escaped creature Goggan tells them that the prison is not as it really seems, Hal and Kilowog must return to the prison asteroid to rescue Razer and bring down the Spider Guild.

I look forward to your thoughts, opinions, gripes, live-blogging, etc.

Comments

  1. This series looks really good.

Hope it’s available for streaming in the next year or so.

  2. I really liked the pilot. I hope they start with the Sinestro war.

  3. Well, I think the animations are one of the best I’ve seen with a TV budget.

  4. RIP Ian Abercrombie.

  5. I kept waiting for Aric Dacia to show up & slice up the spider-aliens.

  6. I quite enjoyed the Wonder Girl/Batgirl/Supergirl short.

  7. I’m I the only one that thinks a Flash cartoon would do better with the kids than Green Lantern. Not to say I’m not excited but I always thought of Flash as DC’s Spiderman. I loved the way they did him in JLU.

  8. For the record, my 11 year old son and I really enjoyed episodes 1 and 2. Animation is solid. The battles look cool. Looking forward to #3.

  9. Okay, Razer is probably my favorite character in the show. His origin is a little generic, but he’s still a good complicated character and I thought the whole “I’ll experience pain over and over again as long as I get to see her one more time” thing was pretty sweet. Looking forward to more of him. Hope this show keeps up the great work!

  10. This show has lots of promise, episode #2 was a good improvement over the pilot. I think Hal’s “scrappy personality upgrade” fits well in this format/series.

  11. Razer is my new favourite red lantern.

  12. This is what I want from the comic series. Hal going from place to place fighting strange aliens, with a loose arc in the back ground
