Being Irish and a former X-men zombie it always bothered me that he was called ‘Banshee.’ The ‘Ban’ part of the name actually means woman. Like ‘Ban on Ti’ is woman of the house. I’m not suggesting that the creators learn my native tongue for the sake of accuracy but it struck me that it was quite lazy on the creators part to not research that even a little bit! Though considering theres also a guy called ‘the Gay Goat’ I reckon we got fairly lightly really!
