The comic so nice they named it twice!
Marvel unveiled this preview of Ultimate Comics Ultimates by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic. And we have found that they are some sweet, sweet Ultimatey goodness. Esad Ribic is bringing some much-needed gravity to the franchise, and it looks to be a sweeping, cinematic return to form.

OMG i’m so excited for this relaunch!
So it looks like, at least in the case of Iron Man and soemwhat Cap, they’re trying to bring the costumes more into lien with 616.
I’m super excited now! Love Hickman’s work and I love Ribic. Ribic’s covers and Silver Surfer: Requiem are awesome and now that he does a different style in Uncanny X-Force I love him more for his diversity.
Really disappointed about the Iron Man armor. The art still looks great though!
Regardless of how you feel about the Ultimate universe, how could any Hickman fan not give his take on this book a chance???

Ultimate Iron Man’s been using the movie suit since about Ultimatum which disaapoints me since I really liked the design of the Ultimate suit.
But nevermind that, the real question is WILL THE BEAR JOIN THE TEAM?!?
The art looks great. Is that Dean White coloring? Has a similar texture to it as Uncanny X-Force.
I really like that art. Like, a lot.

Never read an Ultimate book before, but I’m so into Hickman now I may have to. And that art looks awesome.

I’ve never been a big fan of Ribic’s art, but this looks incredible. Really excited to see Hickman in the Ultimate U.

Also, does this mean Ult. Thor is a villain now? Cause it looks like SHIELD is storming Asgard in this preview.
I kind of wish they had gone with a different colorist on this, but other than that this looks great.

This looks good to me. I know everyone gets upset about the armor but isnt that part of Iron man? Isnt it always changing?

@tork I asked hickman ultimate iron man becoming movie iron man and he replied “Be patient, it’ll take time to fix some things.” So I’m even more excited.
I do miss the Ultimate Iron Man armor from Vol. 1 and 2. Still, I’m sure this book will be very good.
I love Hickman but I most Ultimate books just don’t do it for me.
Man, the action just EXPLODES off the pages. I can’t wait for this. Totally there!
Looks nice in the preview. I really enjoyed the Ultimates and here is hoping it gets back on track.
I love the first Ultimates run by Miillar and Hitch, this looks really good and noticed a couple people already said the 1st two things I thought : I’d rather see the Ultimates Iron Man armor than the usual look, it was a nice change that made it feel separate from the normal Marvel U and also why does Captain Britain look just like Tony Stark? But Captain Britain in the book at all makes me wanna buy it so whatever, maybe it is Tony. Cover isn’t awesome but interiors look nice. Will be picking this up.
I’m calling it here. That’s not Brian Braddock as Captain Britain, but his older brother Jamie. Who presumably in the Ultimate Universe never went crazy.
