EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: Fantastic Four: Season One

The books won’t hit your hands until February, but Marvel have provided us with this exclusive look at Fantastic Four: Season One. It is one of the series of new-reader-friendly graphic novels featuring Marvel’s classic characters, re-told, updated, and repackaged.

This version of the the Richards, Storms, & Grimms classic tale is written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and drawn by David Marquez. You can expect at least three more of these books, featuring Daredevil, Spider-Man, and of course the X-Men.

If these do well enough, you can expect others to follow.

In the meantime, HOLY SPIT! A monster rises from the deep to destroy the city! If only there were heroes up to the task!

Comments

  1. Flame on.

  2. Looks good, I mean, I’m sure I’ve read this story about 6x now, but still fun to get the newest modern twist

  3. Looks polished but unexciting.

  4. I might check this out eventually, as I love the FF, but I don’t need to buy it as soon as it comes out.

  5. Their cheeks are freaking me out.

  6. Just never have liked it when companies “modernize” classic characters. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
