DON’T MISS: Casanova #1 with Matt Fraction

Casanova #1Before Matt Fraction become a household name for comics fans by working on such titles as the Invincible Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, The Immortal Iron Fist and others at Marvel, he and artists Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon released a 14 issue series at Image Comics called Casanova. It was a 1960s espionage and psychedelia inspired cross dimensional adventure starring lead character, and Mick Jagger look a lot like Casanova Quinn. Now the series is getting not only a relaunch, but a remaster at Icon. Listen in to hear how Cass is being given the full color treatment as well as being hand lettered and expanded on.

  1. Added to my pull list. Sounds awesome.

  2. Awesome!  Ive been waiting for the re-release for a while!

  3. Nice!  I’m so pumped Cass is finally coming back.

  4. reworked may not be as great as new…but the first time did slip under the radar for far too many and this obviously has treats for old fans.

  5. This series is, seriously, pretty bloody brilliant so everyone, please, please pick this if you didn’t the first time. Well worth it, and we’d all benefit from the continuing adventures of Casanova Quinn.

  6. I’m excited for the trade. I loved Gabrial Ba’s work on Umbrella Academy and Fraction’s writing has always been interesting.

  7. I Love how this looks and sounds but I think I’m just going to wait on the trade.

  8. I thought Fraction was waaay too of a hipster for me to enjoy this.

  9. I picked up a couple issues of Casanova when it first came out and couldn’t get into it.  I’ll be checking out the remasters to give it a second change though.

  10. I dropped Casanova originally and have no desire to jump back in.  I am interested in the new coloring… but not near enough to drop $4.

  11. Easily some of my favorite work of Fractions. Can’t wait to get this.
