November 28, 2010 10:09 pm Thanks Froggulper.  I'll definitely take you up on the recommendation.  I've read Rucka's Queen and Country and Whiteout ... both of which were awesome.  Looking forward to reading more of his work and I'm interested to see what his writing is like when applied in the DC universe.

yeah, I agree they are pretty different. 

 I feel like the main difference for me is that the story in Echo is a little more straightforward, which is kind of funny considering the premise ... but what I mean is that there is a clear problem that leads to conflicts, and will turn into a climax / resolution.  SIP ... I have no clue where it's going & I'm never reassured that their will be any resolution.  It feels a bit wavering but for me that's just a different kind of fun.
