August 13, 2013 9:32 am Definitely picking up Saga, Thor, and Uncanny X-Men. Might take a flyer on Infinity and Wolverine and the X-Men. BQ: Pacific Rim, without a shadow of a doubt.
July 20, 2012 7:51 pm Outstanding review, Paul. Fantastically written!
June 29, 2012 10:56 am Michael Cho. Holy crap.
June 5, 2012 9:51 am I honestly so would love to see that movie. It sounds so willfully, stubbornly, and bizarrely weird. it would be fascinating
June 5, 2012 9:49 am I always thought that Green Arrow SuperMax movie sounded really really cool. No need to mess about with an origin story. Just drop the viewer right into the action. I can almost see it as a Die Hard type movie. One man with a bow against a prison full of dirty guards and supervillains. It could've been a great showcase for some cool villains. Not every superhero story needs to be some huge epic about the hero saving the world. I'd like to see some smaller stories too.
April 9, 2012 4:41 pm Saga #2!!! BQ: Game of Thrones, Community, Parks and Rec, New Girl, Mad Men, Reds Baseball
March 14, 2012 6:37 pm Hear hear!! Just put the book down. It was outstanding. I'm officially hooked. It's good to have you back, Brian!
February 17, 2012 10:09 am Clear eyes, full hearts. Damn soooo much good stuff this week.
January 18, 2012 1:59 pm I went to college with a bunch of good old boys so I have had the real deal on numerous occasions. Moonshine will put you on your ass like no other booze. And the apple pie stuff? Dangerously tasty. I don't know what kind of black magic those people use to make pure grain alcohol taste so good.
January 13, 2012 3:13 pm I also love that it's a three star general that's trying to convince toddler Hellboy to eat the pancakes. I love the stoic deadpan expressions of every character but Hellboy. I love the relief in the title card. I love the establishing shot. I love that it's only two pages. It really is fantastic.
