I didn’t think any X-title was going to be able to top my love for Peter David’s X-Factor relaunch.  But now that X-Factor is being drawn by a team of coked up squirrel monkeys, X-Force has climbed to the top of my list.

Blood variants.  Puppies and rainbows variants.  Archangel.  This title has drawn me in, despite my initial misgivings about a team of Wolverines.  This issue deals with The Vanisher, who, at the end of the last issue, we learned, had taken possession of the deadly Legacy Virus that nearly wiped out all of mutant kind in the nineties.  The only thing missing from this issue was a phone call to Colossus (who died, in order to save mutanity from the virus) inviting him to come in and kick some telporting tail.
