I really don’t understand the reasoning behind putting lackluster artists on this series.  It seems as though they want it to fail.  This continues to be a fantastic story with truly, truly, terrible art.  Inexcusably awful.  It makes me wonder if Peter David skinned Joe Quesada’s cat alive or something.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 1 - Poor

  1. I believe this is DeLandro’s last issue.  However, he drew most of the issues for David’s first X-Factor run in the 90s – so there’s history there.  Also a lot of the shading work and weird angles i think are done to reinforce the noir type fell.
