This is one of those books that just kind of keeps going.

I don’t mean that in a negative way. Not exactly anyway. This book is like an epidosde of a TV show you enjoy watching, but isn’t a critical or creative darling. It’s good. It’s always GOOD. Levitz always delivers a decent enough script. And the art – ths issue by Emanuela Lupacchino – is solid. (If anything stands out, I’d have to give a bit of a nod to colourist Jason Wright who does a beautiful job on this issue. Really lovely work.)

The story: Power Girl follows a kidnapped Huntress into a boom tube, fights a bunch of Parademons. Huntress is strapped to a chair by Desaad, but escapes. She and Power Girl confront Desaad. Boom tube out to “shocking” ending.

The main reason I keep reading is because I’m a fan of both lead characters. And Levitz has been keeping the book interesting enough to keep reading. So long as that’s the case, I think I’ll keep tuning in.
