Who knew Logan was human? Who thought they’d ever see him in this kind of emotional pain and then empathize for him? Who saw an actual and true happy ending for some of these characters? This book was fantastic and it capped a series that will be remembered for years to come. If I could have, I would have stood up and applauded for Remender and the entire creative cast.

  1. This is a magnificent wrap-up to one of the greatest runs in X-Men history.

  2. It was a satisfying yet surprisingly quiet ending to an outstanding series. Remender did something special with this book, in that he created an entire run that reads like a single, epic, episodic story from beginning to end. The characters had specific challenges each arc, but we saw some real character growth and development. Even though I own all of the floppies, I’ll also keep trades of the entire run on my bookshelf right next to my Astonishing and Marvel Masterworks X-Men books.

    • My buddy works at the local LCS so I’ve been mooching the floppies. I’m first on the list for an omnibus though so they look the other way on that one… if only I could have gotten an early Spidey hookup too… 😉

  3. Great ending to one of the few good and relevant X-men titles out (pre-Marvel NOW). Sad to see this one end since it made the X-universe fun again.
