You know, I’ve been enjoying most of Second Coming, and all of X-Factor, but I think Bendis’s Ultimate Spider-Man is the best mutant book on the stands right now.  The post-Ultimatum showdown over Kitty Pride is unbelievably good.  Which, I guess makes sense, seeing as Bendis, himself, is clearly a mutant, given the amount of quality titles he puts out each month.

This was also the first time in ages that I’ve seen an artist not draw face on background characters and found it poigniant rather than lazy.
