Has Layla Miller been a part of the Roxxon Industries’ Brain Trust all along, or is that new to this issue?  While she doesn’t really do anything in this issue, I find her inclusion much cooler than the last page reveal of this book.

This issue should have been called Ultimate Fist Fight, because it’s mostly an action event pitting The Fantastic Three against (is that supposed to be an Ultimate Sh’iar….person?).  We’re almost at the end before they bring Rick and Project Pegasus back into the mix.  And then on the last page, it turns out that *censored yawn*.

I’m reading this more because I’m a completist when it comes to The Ultimate Unvierse rather than because I’m enjoying it.  It’s not terrible, it just isn’t interesting.  The Brian Michael Bendis writing this is not the same one who’s writing Ultimate Spiderman.  I had to check the cover to see if he was listed as writer or “co-creator”.  (turns out it’s writer)
