The coloring in this issue is its weak point, which, given the quality of last week’s Seige books, makes this one a winner.

Taking place between Seige #3 and #4, we get SPider-Man and Ms. Marvel taking a break from the Asgardian debacle to duke it out with ScorpiVenom.  There are some “oh my god, why didn’t any other writer think to do that” moments, and some nifty lack of tactics to keep this story from actually changing anything in New Avengers, Seige, or Spider-Man.  But all-in-all, this was a fun side romp that picks up some loose continuity threads from Dark Reign.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good
