Saga returns after a short hiatus, and returns better than ever. Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples deliver one of the best books on the shelves. Brian perfectly captures the feeling of being a new parent and what lengths you’ll go to keep that baby safe. Mind you he does it in a universe filled with Tree spaceships and Giants that suffer from a similar affliction when Randy from South Park gave himself testicular cancer.
Fiona Staples is no slouch in the art department herself. Backgrounds appear painted giving the foreground and characters the right amount of emphasis. I hope she never ever leaves this book.
Each and every issue fantastic and this issue doesn’t break that trend.
