This was a pretty good first issue. It didn’t seem to break the mould in many ways though. After the recent releases of titles like the Stan Lee’s Boom! range – but it was still a well-paced story and i will be checking out the next instalment. The art was good but not great. A strange sketchy water coloured look by someone unknown to me called Dean Zachary. That is not to say the art was bad however, it kept the flow of the story moving very nicely and seemed to fit well. I was surprised to see the writing duties on this where split between Krueger and Denee, I’m hoping that this means the idea for this story will be well developed and planned out and continue to grow. A solid 3 – good story and good writing, with room to improve and develop.
