I am so bloody sick of this talking to the camera crap. So done with it. Also, I am sick of Fear Itself. TO DEATH.

Outside of that, this issue was great. I love Daredevil. I love Daredevil being a badass. I love Daredevil wrecking Nazi in mechsuit face even though it makes no sense for Fear Itself to even be a thing that is happening if Daredevil alone can wreck a bunch of Nazis in mechsuits. I didn’t think I would enjoy the concept of Daredevil as an Avenger, but the New Avengers team is just so full of characters I love, I think I’ll roll with it here.

Deodato’s art is fine. It can look a wee bit muddy at times, but I think that’s more a coloring/inking issue. It’s not my favorite thing in the world, but it damn sure runs circles around Jim Lee’s work on Justice League, and people are creaming their pants over that crap.

Speaking of Jim Lee, in the machine gun-as-phallus battle of the past few weeks, Daredevil trumps Green Lantern. Because Daredevil is a pimp and Green Lantern is an uppity bitch with a ring. Didn’t know there was a battle? Neither did I till I read this, and Green Lantern is is on the cover to Justice League with his poncey little light construct machine gun pelvic thrust while he hides behind Cyborg, and then Daredevil wrecks some Nazi mechsuit, steals his real machine gun, wrecks more Nazis with it, even knowing that the sound of machine gun fire will throw his radar sense all out of whack, and then takes the time to save a woman/small animal and child in the middle of it like it ain’t no thang. Green Lantern had to roll deep with his crew and hide behind a burly black man. Green Lantern is a bitch and got showed up by a blind dude.
