When Grant Morrison starts using his fantasy speak, this book gets a little silly.  And that’s ok.  If this book were a movie, I’d lump it in with The Neverending Story and Labyrinth.  I loved both those movies, knowing full-well their flaws, and that many adults would find them boring.

What made both of those movies, and this comic so entertaining to watch/read is the visuals.  Sean Murphy’s house, and fantasy worlds are epic.  And while the two page spreads in the last issue didn’t grab me, the ones in this issue grabbed me, shook me, put me down, and once I thought I was over them, slapped me in the face, and threw me across the room.  I am unharmed, but pleasantly offput.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
