The title “Hoax Hunters” made me a little wary about the whole “reality TV” comic book. But to my surprise, this book was very entertaining.

The reason I bought this issue was because of the cool cover and my new vow to give creator owned comics my money this year. But as I read it, it reminded me of a BPRD/Proof mixed in with government coverup type of a story, which made me happy.

What I loved about the comic mostly was the writing and the pacing, but the art was good too.

From the preview, I noticed that the art gets better too, so I’m excited. definitely picking #1 up.
