I’ve been a fan of the Gillen / McKelvie team ever since Phonogram, so even though I’m not a regular X reader, I picked the book up and it was completely on the mark for me.  Kieron Gillen gets youth culture and gets the language.  Everything in the interactions feels right.  McKelvie’s art is just as good as ever, the body language and acting is spot on.

Will I continue picking up Generation Hope?  I’m not sure.  But if you give me more stories like this, more day to day life stuff by this team, I’m totally in.
