WOW! I’m not saying this series has grown old, or that Waid’s lost it, or that it’s more of the same from Samnee. The creative team on this book is always insuring a quality title and a book that’s easily in the top 10 currently in print. It has fallen into a kind of a rhythm. While it’s been solid, it hasn’t grabbed me and shaken me around like it did before the coyote storyline. That changed in this book. This issue reminds me that it’s the reason I became a DD fan. This issue is the reason I picked up DareDevil in the first place.

Samnee did bring more of the same and that means quality and passion. Waid introduced a frighteningly wide eyed new villain named Ikari, which means Fury. Ikari is a Kusurigami wielding BAMF of the Samuel L. Jackson BAMF’s. Waid them has Samnee story board static images of a fight scene you’ll swear is animated; because, it’s so action packed and fluid you forget Matt’s long winded inner monologue is even there.

This book brought the WOW and WOW’s entire posse: OMFG, SPECTACULAR!, WTF?, NO WAY?!, BBQ!1!!, THRILLING and Mr. Pink.

Do not pass up this book.
