Exciting, and possibly devisive, I rather liked this issue.  I’ve been dreading Batman Through The Ages since Bruce first got Omega blasted into the past.  And while that story is yet to come out, this first issue of Dick and Damien actually searching for clues to what happened to Bruce Wayne was pretty interesting.

From an art standpoint, it was tremendously adequate.  The big problem being that very few artists besides Quitely seem to be able to draw Damien as young as he is supposed to be.  Here, he just looks like a really short late teen.

  1. Well maybe he takes a lot of vitamins and other supplements.  After all, he is rich and is a crimefighter.  Wouldn’t you be trying to get bigger?

  2. Well, he’s not getting bigger, he’s just looking older.  Maybe it’s all the late night crime fighting making circles under his eyes?

  3. Age aint nuttin but a number he has had to grow up real  fast.

  4. "tremendously adequate" – that’s a great euphemism.
