The second volume of assorted Marvel stories was just as fun as its predecessor.  I liked the bite-size for fun (yet, in continuity, sorta!) stories.

Punisher & Wolverine vs. Predator X was a nice little slice of action.

I skipped the Iron Man 2020, because I don’t care about the story, and the art looked very much like most of the current Marvel stuff, which I find rather dull.

The MODOK one shot story was pure fun dreck.  “Who has the audacity to insult the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing by portraying him as a…vessel of sugar?”  Ted Mckeever does.

And I’m a total sucker for anything JOnathan Hickman, and his Mojoworld story continues to be fun.  Two of your favorite New Mutants go head to head against Mojo in a series of game shows to decide the terms of their impending movie contracts.  What?  Don’t worry about it.  I don’t particularly like the way Pitarra draws Mojo, but the writing was sharp enough to keep me entertained.

This whole collection is the antithesis to the current Dark Reign that’s enveloping a good chunk of the Marvel U.  And it is a tasty ball of popcorn, pick it up and enjoy.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good
