  1. Agreed. Spidey’s been trending downward for a while. I’m only a sporadic reader, but I remember picking up random issues of the first year and a half of the Brand New Era and never getting a stinker. For the last six months it’s like hardly any issue’s caught my eye enough to give it more than a passing flip through at the shop…then most of the reviews are lukewarm anyway, so I don’t feel I’m missing anything. 20 issues of dullness always sucks, dude. Hope you can find a comic shop that does trade-ins for newish back issues or something.

  2. @flapjaxx: It seems like once that Black Cat arc ended, it has been boring as hell for me since.  I am sure there are plenty who disagree but coming from a DC fanboy like myself, I’m not at all surprised that it was only a matter of time before I got sick of reading a Marvel title THREE times a month!!  $$$ is about to get real tight with my last unemployment check coming in the mail next week, it looks like my pull list is gonna be down to just Batman & Robin, Detective, Irredeemable, Punisher MAX, and The Return Of Bruce Wayne…

  3. Yeah, I have been getting the vibe you have not been feeling the Spider-man for a while Robby. If nothing else, the Joe Kelly Rhino issues were incredible. If they didn’t do it for you I would definitely give Spidey and your pocket a break.
