Again, Tomahawk, the back up, is FANTASTIC. Winslade’s two page spread of Tomahawk bursting through the flaming wall is stellar.

I honestly got chills when reading the last two pages of Winslade’s Tomahawk. Her perfectly captures the rage, the pride, the defiance — and it’s all the more profoundly sad because we know what Tomahawk does not..that the Indians lose.
Great, great story. I’m really glad DC published it.

Hex’s story was a little bit of a let down after the last issue…except, the fight between hobbled Hex and Hyde was entertaining, if not ended a bit conveniently with the help of a tossed gun. Oh well, it’s a western.

The teaser for next issue promises a story that could be highly entertaining, or really boring –let’s hope G & P have their A game going for that one. It features Dr. Terrence 13, a very cool character.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
