Grey and Palmiotti craft a fun Jonah Hex romp with delightful nods to the historical Gotham. Jonah Hex in Gotham city is an intriguing idea by itself, but teaming him up with Amadeus Arkham of Arkham Asylum fame is genius! Combining True Grit-style narration combined with Jonah’s love of brute force and getting to the point makes a fantastic combination, giving a new swing to the classic Jonah Hex story. Moritat’s art compliments the murder mystery perfectly, creating a rich world for the protagonists to inhabit and great acting from many of them. Definitely worth a look for Jonah Hex fans and even hardcore Batman fans!
