  1. Thanks for posting this, guys! I think it turned out to be an interesting conversation, and I hope folks get something out of it. 🙂

    • Definitely got something out of it!

I also appreciated your anecdote about your Dad and Y: The Last Man. I’m going through the same thing with my Dad and American Vampire.

    • Thanks, Ken! Yeah, it seems like I’ve spent YEARS trying to get friends and family to read comics who don’t think comics are for them. So these little victories are important. 😀 And now that I’m putting out a book, all of that effort seems like a testing ground for that same core concept…

  2. oh wow thanks for posting this, can’t wait to listen!

Really fascinating discussion with a nice mix of voices each approaching independent comics in a unique way. Genuinely interested in hearing more of these. I hope Earth-2 makes a regular thing of it!

  4. This was incredibly impressive, guys. Loved hearing the different opinions about breaking into comics the independent way. I can only imagine how tough it is in this market to do that – you almost have to treat it like a business where you’re constantly working at and plugging your material. Best to all on their books!
