Did Supergirl and Powergirl fight sometime recently?
I think the last issue of Supergirl had SG fight an evil twin that they thought was Power Girl at first.
They teamed up in Supergirl #19. And that’s where Powergirl got her real costume back. Thank goodness!
Nice to see that costume back. I’m wishfully thinking DC will start rolling all of the New 52 costumes back now.
Thinking about trying this book, can anybody tell me how it’s been thus far and help solidify my interest?
It has been rather good. There is an intriguing subplot going on since issue one where we hope to one day see Batman and Huntress meet. Huntress has been having very mixed feelings regarding her alternate world ‘father’ after seeing her true one die back on Earth 2. PG has been handling the alternate Earth 1(?) exremely well, taking some money they divested from Wayne and turning it into a Technical/Financial empire crossing the globe. Both are trying to get home to Earth2. It seems some entity has followed them from Earth 2 (could be very bad as this is possibly from the same fiends that killed off the Earth 2 heroes.)

We all want to see that. I hope when they finally meet they will devote most of an issue (at least) to it and not just a few panels. There is much character depth that can be uncovered in that instance alone for both vigilantes and I am a huge Huntress and Batman fan.
Boy is it nice to see Powergirl in her classic costume, modesty be damned:)!
That said, i still don’t know what this book is meant to be, i’ve picked up three issues and i feel like nothing has happened in any of them.
Man, What i would give to have Palmiotti & Grey on Worlds’ Finest.
Or Aaron Lopresti. Y’know … since Sword is due to be axed he will need a regular title and his art would only be a perfect match for this type of series.
i have no clue what i just read… or why her in story motivation for a switch
Explaing the costume- it’s destroyed again in supergirl #19 and while in the sanctuary she mentions she needs new clothes which Kara’s A.I provides so her “old” costume is made of the same indestructible material as the rest of the super family now thus the switch.
Glad to see Desaad has arrived, hopefully the connection to Earth 2 and apocalypse will start to pick up now.
It would have been nice if they said anything in this book about how she got this costume for people who hadn’t read Supergirl #19. I had, but I was surprised it was mentioned nowhere.
