  1. Hmmmm, Joshua Hale Fialkov huh? Interesting. Maybe I’ll start reading this title again.

  2. In Fialkov I trust.

  3. The preview for this looks fantastic.

  4. Look, I knew I was going to like this, if only for Di Giandomenico’s art. But it looks like Fialkov has more than just a great “Skeletor” origin in him.

This inspired riff on elements from “Infinity Gaunlet”, “Avengers: Disassembled”, and “Ultimates 1&2” spins out of the flawless premise and momentum Hickman established early on and rewards even a casual fan of the overall series with a re-energization of the imagination.

This launch is a reminder that in the age of Marvel Now! this book may seem redundant but if there was ever a title to watch emerging talents go wild on “A” Marvel Universe with relatively no limits or consequences this is that title.

Although, I did say this about Hickman & Ribic way back and had to drop out after a couple of the Humpries & Whoevs issues…

  5. Enjoyed this very much. Dug the whole thing, and loved the payoff at the end. After I read it the first time, I leafed back through it in reverse and found that to be rewarding and revealing as well. Feels like a new breath of life has entered this book. Fun, fun, fun.
