  1. Yay, no more AvX tie-in junk. I can start reading Secret Avengers again.

  2. black widow’s pose is anatomically hilarious

  3. Finally coming back to this book after the tie-ins are now over. CAN’T WAIT!!

  4. I’ve got to agree with everyone about the tie-ins. I stayed around for them, but it wasn’t really worth it, in my opinion. Nothing horrible, but not really that good either. Looking forward to regular Secret Avengers.

    • Same i stuck around as well but if it doesn’t pick up to where the quality level was before the tie ins I’ll have to drop this

  5. Hopefully this book can regain its lost momentum. Remender’s first arc was great, but any excitement I had for this title is lost after those AVX issues.

  6. The AvX tie-in stories were an absolute mess, couldn’t get a hold on what the bloody hell was happening! But hopefully Remender will get his story telling prowess into the book and make it live again.

  7. Are they planning on cancelling this in the Marvel Now!? and if they don’t want to see some serious working together between Hickman and Remender.

  8. You put Taskmaster in your book, you get all the stars. Great issue! So glad this book is back on track.

    • Ya I’m also glad taskmaster has been brought into this, I felt this issue started off rushed and rough at the start but towards the end it seems like things are finally getting back on track

  9. Glad I came back, cool issue.

  10. Glad the AvX crap is done. This was a great issue.

  11. why is Black Widow the center of this cover when the book is clearly a focus on Venom?

    • Probably the same reason Beast and Captain Britain are on the cover… Arthur Adams can pretty much draw whatever the hell he wants regardless of the interior apparently. Not his best cover for this series though. Black Widow looks twisted and weird.

    • the answer is: because the cover was drawn nearly five months ago. i suspect AA was told “here’s the roster, give us a run of covers with these characters”. i don’t think any of his covers had anything particularly story related on them, i’d be surprised if he was even given a script.

much like Mike Choi’s Fantastic Four/FF covers. mostly just group shots.

  12. so is Gabe Hardman not coming back then?
