I love everything about this relaunch so far by IDW and Chuck Dixon except for the titles and the issue numbering. That said I am in 10,000 percent. The whole story arc aboutnthe Lome scale and a true 8 vs a true 1 is absolutely amazing.
Is this the continuation of GI Joe Cobra?
Not quite. This is the continuation of the GI Joe main book. I think there is a new GI Joe cobra coming, and I think GI Joe origins is done. Cobra Civil War is the ” event ” that they have going on right now because the Cobra Commander is dead.
I never would have thought so, but this is what I’ve been looking forward to more than anything in some time.
I only read GI Joe Cobra, so I’m unclear as to whether I should pick this up. Was Cobra Commander’s fate in that book part of this “continuity”?
Yes, Cobra Commander being dead ties to the continuity of all the G.I. Joe books (except for A Real American Hero)
This looks fun!
