  1. This series ends at what issue?

I want one hardcover when this is over.

  2. I think #12 is the last one.

  3. How many ways can we say, “THIS IS AWESOME!”??

  4. Is this a new cover? I don’t recall seeing this in the solicits

  5. They finally made this series available online

  6. This was great. I really enjoy the recurring theme of Fury being a great soldier, but unable to stop the real bad guys from doing what they do. I feel bad for Nick at the end of every one of these stories. I really hope McCluskey somehow gets his at the end.

    • And on the opposite side of the coin, often seeing that there are no good guys. In the current storyline, Ennis makes the enemy Vietnamese understandable, their massacre was sad. Ennis is always good at showing the little guy caught up in forces beyond his control, not just here but in his excellent BATTLEFIELDS as well. War can be glorious, but it is often ugly, Ennis does a good job portraying that.

It also makes Fury oddly pathetic and impotent at times. The final scene at the airport aptly shows the politician heading off to the future while Fury is left in the wake. You wonder why Fury keeps going to war, but then feel sorry that it’s really the only life he knows.
