  1. Yes! More Madcap Merriment in the Mighty Marvel Manner!

  2. McKelvie! His stuff last issue was really beautiful.

  3. Avatar photo filippod (@filippodee) says:

This is a proper Defenders book. I’m enjoying it.

  4. YOU CAN’T SHUT THE ENGINES DOWN!!!!

  5. This and Peter Parker are on top of my “read NOW” pile. Then Daredevil and Hawkeye next. Then Earth 2. Then World’s Finest.

    GREAT week for comics!

PotW material (but Peter Parker could take the top spot.)

  6. Still good.

  7. Oh man. This one was fun. I rarely read a single issue twice in the same night, but I read this one fast, then went back and read it again a few hours later. The art, the story – all awesome. Can’t wait for the next one. Only disappointment is that Namor’s gone.

  8. Here’s what’s cool about this story: It’s totaly crazy, nonsensical, stream of consciousness stuff, but the actual plot is fantastically simple.
The Engine breaks reality. Some people want it, some want to protect it. The Defenders are stuck in the middle, as the universe shatters around their heads.
One of my favorites right now.

  9. I felt like I missed too much Between issues… (spoilers?)

How did they know where nick was?

How did they get jobs there?

It just made me kind of frustrated. Other than that, fairly entertaining issue.

  10. This book makes me laugh…worth every penny! Shame it’s going!

  11. VERY sad it is ending!
