    This is a pleasant surprise – an extra issue of one of my favorite (and likely doomed) titles.

    I’m pretty sure it’s going to last another full 12 issues for Vol. 2. Otherwise they wouldn’t’ve renewed it. It’s normally a $4 book, so it doesn’t matter if sales are as low as the recently canceled titles, which were all only $3 an issue. (Punisher MAX might be $4 as well, but that was ending anyway.)

    Do you guys think I can jump on with this issue. I have a small pull list this week (well it’s just Animal Man) and I like what I’ve read of DP so far.

      Probably so, there’s generally enough expository material in these issues to catch new readers up. But beyond that it’s just fun and crazy, you don’t need much prep to enjoy that.
