  1. I’m gonna miss this book, I wish it hadn’t gone out with such a whimper though

  2. This may be the last issue for me. I really like Jeff Parker, but I haven’t been a fan of the Dark Avengers team.

  3. I’m on the fence. This issue needs to deliver a solid hook for the full transition to the Dark Avengers team to keep me on board. I think Parker can make something out of these dull characters but it would also be a good time to jump off now that the journey of his Thunderbolts team is over.

  4. jumping off, i’m afraid. Too many characters I don’t really care about having adventures that I’m not interested in, with too many other comics expensive…

  5. The transiton to Dark Avengers is a train wreck. Glad I jumped off the train when I did.

  6. This is the grand finally for me, it hasn’t quite ended the way I hoped. But I guess that’s why this isn’t the end!

  7. I need to catch up on reading this.

Been loving Thunderbolts for a while now.

Hope Parker is still bringing it with these characters.

  8. Well, I think I may be off this book gentlemen…The handling of the departure of the Underbolts team is very “left field”. Maybe that’s because these are Parker’s characters, whom he has solely developed in recent continuity.

But damn that last page! I HATE THAT LAST PAGE SO MUCH!, I’m still pulling.

Well played Jeff Parker, well played…you know how to keep a reader on your book.

  9. I like Jeff Parker but as soon as the Dark Avengers were introduced I knew this wasn’t for me. Anxiously awaiting the debut of Way and Dillon’s Thunderbolts.

  10. OK, I’m out. The closure of the Thunderbolts era was… alright, but felt wedged in there. Otherwise there wasn’t a strong enough hook to keep me around. So the Dark Avengers are now in an alternate timeline and/or future? Meh. Too many other new and interesting books coming out from Marvel.

What really hurts this book for me is the art. I thought Edwards was doing a nice job at first but it seems to have gotten worse. I’m not into the way he draws the characters and actually had trouble telling what was going on at some points. Maybe if Shalvey or Walker were still on board that would carry me through. I can’t enjoy the comic if I don’t enjoy the art.
