  1. Hadn’t heard of this but here’s a review, sounds pretty good.

  2. Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan is releasing this in conjunction with his new album of the same title. I’m expecting to receive mine in the mail along with the album any day now. He’s never written a comic book before to my knowledge, so my expectations aren’t high, but we’ll see.

    • I thought a wrote a comic about beating the shit out of people in Jail around the time Fishscale came out in 2006. Also check out the artwork Chris Bachalo did for an aborted comic he was doing in conjuctuure with the album he did with Meth and Rae in 2010. Mind blowing

    • You’re right, thanks for the info. The first one you mention looks like its called Cell Block Z. Haven’t heard of it before now. I do remember Bachalo’s awesome covers for the Wu-Massacre album, There was a choice of three cover variations for each Meth, Ghost and Rae, similar to comic book variant covers. Didn’t know there was an aborted comic for it as well. Looks awesome, though admittedly, still them beating the shit out of more people! lol:

    • Another correction: though Ghostface has a creator credit for this, he did not actually write it. I’ve read it now, not bad, will probably check out the next issue.

    • I thought it was really cool overall. Wu-Tang also has a series at Image back in the day that I never read. Always wondered if that was any good

  3. I had my doubts about this – thought “oh great, another celebrity comic book” but it was actually really good. I’m in for the rest of ’em.

  4. I really enjoyed this book. Not as much as the album but still good. Going to see The Ghostface Killahhhh on the 16th. I’m excited. Apparently he has a whole stage play thing that he acts out for the concept album songs.
