Your First Look at THE WALKING DEAD Game

You’ve had the comics, and now you’ve had the TV show, but you crave more human flesh? Grab your game controller and suit up for The Walking Dead game from Telltale Games. It will be a 5 part episodic Adventure Horror game, and you’ll be able to download it for all major gaming platforms this spring.

Take a gander at the first screenshots, which mostly look like cutscenes.

As if that’s not enough, and I admit, it isn’t really very much, they’ve also put together this video show to promote the run up to the game, which will run for 9 episodes. It’s called Playing Dead (because Talking Dead was taken, and is possibly still in use somewhere). It’s hosted by AJ LoCascio, who is hailed as the voice of Marty McFly in the Back to the Future game done with the same developer, and he wears a bunch of necklaces, and talks to people involved with the game.

For more on the game, get to their website, and follow the progress as they wait for the game to go live. And by that they mean dead, or will come up with some appropriate pun at a later date.

  1. Telltale is pretty damn good at what they do. I loved the Lucas Art’s SCUMM and Sierra games as a kid and It makes me happy that adventure games haven’t died. Not only that, we’re in a resurgence!

Now we just need a remake of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

    • I remember loading Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis with 9 floppy’s!

I’ve been waiting for some light on this game for over a year. I love the idea of ‘The Playing Dead’ keeping us informed before its release.
