X-Men Regenesis is gaining steam, as today Marvel unveiled the covers to Uncanny X-Men #1 and Uncanny X-Men #2. The newly renumbered legacy title of Uncanny X-Men hits stands in November with the first issue, as Kieron Gillen and Carlos Pacheco chronicle the tales of Cyclops and the X-Men who have allied themselves with the longstanding leader. Issue #1 features prominently Mr. Sinister, one my personal favorite villains. This is a bold new beginning for the mutants, and I can’t wait to get my hands on these first issues.

If this is even half as good as Schism, it will be worth buying.
I like Gillen, and Cyke is my favourite X-men, but there are no other characters in his team that interest me. I might try an issue or two.
I’m sorry but, I can’t wrap my head around that.
Cyke is my favorite character also, but it’s largely because of his interactions with a lot of those people on his team.
Sure, there are others I would like to see, like Wolverine or Beast. But Cyclops and Magneto? Or Cyclops and Storm? I’ll take those comics!
Unfortunetly since this team is made up of characters I don’t like mostly and it’s double shipping which is way to much for my pull list right now after the dc relaunch I’ll have to pass.

Can anyone confirm that Pacheco is rotating art duties with Greg Land?
That may be my deciding factor on whether or not I buy this.
I can’t confirm, but I also remember hearing about a Pacheco/Land rotation.
Does Pacheco have a track record as being a quick artist? The fact that the first two issues are double shipping leads me to believe we’ll see another artist on the second arc.
While I’d prefer it to be someone other than Greg Land (McKelvie, Noto, Immonen, LaFuente?), I have to say this last arc of Uncanny is the best Land art I’ve seen.

I am sorry but cover one is terrible. What are these characters doing? Cover two is a little bit better but come on. i expect more out of my uncanny x men titles.
Yeah, the first cover looks like a bad Valiant cover, and the second looks almost as bad.
Is that Mr. Sinister or Dracula?
