TRAILER: The Incredible Hulk #1 from Jason Aaron and Marc Silvestri

One of the big announcements from Marvel Comics was the new series, The Incredible Hulk, written by Jason Aaron with art by Marc Silvestri.  Promising to focus on Banner and the Hulk seperately and together, this new take on the Hulk promises to be worth checking out, if only to see how Aaron and Silvestri work together on the legendary character.

Today, Marvel Comics released a trailer to build the hype for The Incredible Hulk #1, which hits comic shops this October:

Marvel provided the following description of The Incredible Hulk #1 Trailer:

Marvel Architect Jason Aaron joins forces with legendary artist Marc Silvestri to redefine the Hulk in an all new ongoing series.  After the events of Fear Itself, the Hulk has gone into hiding, seemingly safe from a world that hates and fears him. But when government agents come knocking at his door, the Hulk has no choice but to return to war against the one man whose existence threatens the safety of every living creature on the Earth. The one man who’s existence could doom the Hulk himself.  And that man is Bruce Banner.  Now separated into two men, the Hulk and Banner exist worlds apart but one climactic battle will bring them face to face again—and leave the Marvel Universe shaking in its wake.

Comments

  1. Alright that pushed me over the edge, im in for this now!

  2. This looks awesome.  Now Banner can finally work for AIM!

  3. Not a huge Hulk fan but I am a huge Jason Aaron fan.

    I’m buying it.

  4. I don’t care about Hulk and that trailer has me intrigued

  5. I love Scalped but Aaron’s Marvel stuff doesn’t really do it for me.  However, Silvestri…I’m in for Silverstri.  That trailer is a bit stupid though!

  6. sign me up.

  7. Marc Silvestri Is not the artist when I think Hulk, but this does look awesome

  8. Man I always wanted to know how Fear Itself ended without actually reading it!

  9. Hasn’t Hulk and Banner been separated before? I swore that was a storyline in like the 80s or something.

  10. That trailer seemed like it was trying a little to hard. But that doesn’t matter, I will buy just about anything Aaron writes. Can’t wait for some Hulk goodness.

  11. Didnt even have to see this comic book trailer (which is weird lol) to know im buying this just because of Jason Aaron

  12. Probably gonna wait to read this in trades and then probably in library editions. If Jeff Parker can’t get me to buy Hulk, no-one can. I unfortunately can’t afford to add any more titles at this time.

  13. I’ve been reading Hulk for decades. This a good change. Excited.

  14. @TheNextChampion  Yeah, I believe it was during John Byrne’s run. When they remerged, I believe that led to Hulk becoming the gray Hulk for the first time since his first appearance. I could be wrong as a lot has happened to me since the 80s.

  15. Been a Hulk fan since Planet Hulk so I missed a lot of the earlier stuff but this looks neat. I’m really curious as to why Bruce Banner seems to become a villian or why he’s ‘threatening all life’. Is it because he no longer has a way to work out all his negative emotions as the Hulk? Looks interesting even though I’ll miss Pelletier drawing it.

  16. Looking forward to other Aaron marvel work since Scalped is on the way out…

  17. I’m in!! Yeah, Hulk and Banner have been seperated before and it’s been done well, but this still looks great. Glad to be excited about something Marvel’s putting out again.

  18. how can anyone pass up on this Aaron and Silvestri. damn, nuff said.

  19. I’m in for anything written by aaron but i feel like ive read stories about hulk and banner being seperated before.

  20. Two words: Gay Hulk.

  21. ((Aaron + Silvestri) * Hulk) == $$

    I’m in.

  22. Moloids?  hmm.  I can’t wait for this.

  23. not question now

  24. the art is amazing. i’ll keep my eye on it. i wish they made it a animated movie. oh well
