It's almost like Warner Bros. wanted people to stop thinking about Thor for a minute.
All the voice cast seem to be in place, and this new Green Lantern trailer seems to cover a lot of ground. Kilowog, Sinestro, Tomar Re, Ganthet, Oa, and Hector Hammond are all clearly there. It's a very different tone than the first trailer, and really gives a sense of the scope of the film.
So chime in. Are you feeling more excited than you were before? You like what you see? I liked it a lot more than I liked the previous trailer.

Looking better every time we get something new. My caution, however, remains firmly attached to my optimism.
That costume. I can’t definitely see why WB wanted to put another 9mil in the CGI. It still looks too fake to take it seriously.
Also, I’m just not pumped for this movie. I want to see it, but nothing about it is making me excited for it like Thor or Cap.

It’s a good time to be a comic book geek.
I never noticed but the word ‘lanterns’ sounds weird when you hear it aloud. I wish they wouldn’t use dialgue from the comics, it always sounds so stilted. “You have the ability of overcome fear.” really rolls off the tongue.
I had to rewind to the Kilowog punching Hal in the face part five times. I don’t know why, but that’s hilarious.
Looks kinda like a video game. But I liked the Sinestro part.
What’s with Paralax being all cloud like, much like Galactus in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer?

Looks “better”. I’ll give it that. It doesn’t have me cringing as much as before. So good on WB for that, I guess.
Still can’t shake the overall sense of everything being just a tad on the cheap side. ESPECIALLY the damn suit. That thing, along with the mask, simply does not look good. How anyone can look at the scene with Hal and the construct machine gun and not wince is beyond me.
The movie looks good in places. But in others, it looks like a poorly done video game cut scene. I think that’s what is holding me back from embracing the look and feel of this movie. It’s all over the place in style and tone. Feels like a video game in some scenes, a movie in others, and a very awkward mash-up in the rest.
This looks WORSE than ever to me. Spawn-level badness.

Oh man. I geeked out so much watching this trailer. June 16th cant get here fast enough. Anyone else notice the Sinestro Corp symbol towards the begining.

going to see Thor JUST to see this trailer on the big screen…nah! But i’m really looking forward to GL. Continues to excite me.

This looks better and better with each trailer. Don’t know how the actual movie will be, but color me excited. Trying to keep my expectations at a reasonable level, though.
Still hate the mask and costume!

Little perturbed that (Parallax?) looks like a combination between FF movie version of Galactus and the giant Sandman from Spider-Man 3. Other than that – good stuff!

I seriously have no problems with this one at all. Hoping this is one I can watch over and over again without a single movie to comic complaint.
I remember seeing some concept art of Parallax as the big bug we all know and love, so potentially the cloud isn’t Parallax’s only form.

Definately impressed by the look and tone of the movie. Let’s see how the script fares. But you have to agree this flick has a lot of ground to make up with fanboys and any ‘buzz’ surrounding it. Still, I hope it does well for DC.

How come the muzzle flashes from the machine gun construct and the fire from the flame thrower construct not green? Last I checked a Green Lantern ring can only wield the GREEN light of will!
It looks cool, but man that is a lot of glow-y CGI stuff. Don’t know if i can take 2 hours of that and not get a headache. Looks like one hell of an animated adventure though.
This trailer didn’t get me as excited about the movie as the first one did, but I’ll go see anything with Ryan Reynolds and Peter Sarsgaard.
@ShaunR I was thinking the same thing; my guess is that in the movie, the constructs become physical objects and so a muzzle flash will still be the same hue as a real gun, even though it’s green & fires green bullets. The more I think about that as I’m typing it, the more I like it, actually.

Really tight summer schedule with Cars 2 out the week after and Transformers 3 the week after that. Should be able to stay in the top 5 through Independence Day weekend. If it stays in the top 3 then I think it’ll be considered a hit.

That Sinestro felt spot on. This trailer even made it feel like it was his movie more than Hal’s. I wish they hadn’t revealed so much about Hammond’s story in this trailer. This trailer showed so much I hope they still have something to surprise us with in the movie itself.
