August 6, 2012 10:51 pm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Brute_Man As a bonus, MST3K riffed this movie back in the day, also.
February 19, 2010 11:27 pm Enki Bilal's 'Nikopol Trilogy'. Moebius 'The Incal'. Moebius's Silver Surfer story with Stan Lee (OMG good). Heavy Metal, 2000 AD. I would love to see a Ifanboy show in the vein of these comics.

Check out Lazarus Churchyard by Ellis and some British dude. Good fun, "cyberpunk", har. Image released a reissued trade some 8 years ago.

Crime is doomed! Great 1st. Pure love. Though I do agree with Nate. New reader friendly would be nice. My girl read this but she had like a billion questions afterward. I pointed her to Wiki and said "good luck". There's not too much you need to know, but I think it feels more satisfying if you've read all that lead UP to now.

April 20, 2009 10:04 pm Really looking forward to this. Glad I hopped on 2 issues ago.
April 20, 2009 10:03 pm Mckone drew the one part of everything after New Ways To Die that I didn't much enjoy. But, I'm sure Waid will kill it so I'm still onboard.
April 20, 2009 10:01 pm Man I don't know. I've love/d it. Only real X-thing I'm reading (besides Messiah War more recently), so maybe I have a filter. The pencils in unfinished solicits are "TIGHT". Bianchi I think, is just not for everyone.
April 20, 2009 9:58 pm Get up on it Spoons. I did. Haven't looked back since. Made of awesome.

Mysterius looks great this week. Anyone that likes Jeff Parker's more "mainstream" Marvel books should check it out. Ready for ASM and Icognito. Getting Oracle, hope it's OK at least. Sub-Mariner tribute, fo sho'. Light. Money to catch up on trades, word.

BQ: Booze and cigarettes. So. Death it is!
